San Francisco Artist Portrait, Ted Naifeh
I’ve known Ted Naifeh for a long, long time (15+ years! eeek!), and have photographed him many times. We collaborated years ago (10!) on a graphic novel about San Francisco counter-culture, called ‘How Loathsome’. Ted’s become known for writing and illustrating several groundbreaking young-adult graphic novel series including ‘Courtney Crumrin and the Night Things’, ‘Princess Ugg’, and ‘Polly and Pirates’.

Phoenix Arizona, Portraits
Nearly every winter my partner and I take a road trip to Arizona to spend the holidays with our nieces and nephew. I’ve been photographing them for years, it’s so wonderful watching them grow into adulthood. This year I left the DSLR at home and relied on the Fuji system. The more I shoot with this camera, the more I love it.

Berkeley Engagement Session – Whitney and Milos

Wedding Sneak Peek – Rachel and Joe
This was a whirlwind of a weekend! I flew out early last Saturday to Annapolis, shot the wedding Sunday, and was home by Monday at 10pm. Joe is one of my oldest friends from San Francisco, we first lost him when he moved to Prague, and he’s now firmly ensconced outside Amsterdam and happily married to his fantastic partner, Rachel.
So many more from this wedding to come. I’m off to shoot another one this weekend on the coast of Mendocino.
